Clasp style kit

For a jeweller whose pieces are small, expensive and bought slowly, whose page has to hold a photograph still long enough to be trusted.

Label: Space Mono; Uppercase · 11–13px · +4% tracking. Navigation, headings, prices, buttons, captions.
Reading: EB Garamond; Sentence case at 17px, 1.55 leading. Descriptions, quotes, the paragraph under a collection name.
Wordmark: Space Mono; Bold uppercase · +30% tracking. The shop name on the bar and in the footer.

Corners are square everywhere: tiles, buttons, inputs, the lightbox.
Products sit on bone tiles with a 2px white gutter between them; the tile swaps to the worn photograph under the pointer.
Buttons are graphite blocks with mono capitals; on hover the fill lifts to white behind a 1px ink edge.
Links underline with a hairline that draws from the left; the bar's Sale link is the only red on the page.
Pages dissolve behind a 2px ink bar along the top; sections rise 6px as they arrive. All of it stands down for reduced motion.

Quiet, exact, British. Name the metal, the length and the maker. Never exclaim. Let the press and the photograph do the persuading.
