A run is thrown in one week, trimmed the next, and glazed and fired together. That is why the pieces in it are alike, and why none of them is identical: the same glaze over the same body moves differently depending on where a piece stood in the kiln.
The photographs are of one piece from the run. Expect the one that arrives to be recognisably that piece rather than a copy of it. When a run sells out it is not made again.
Stoneware fired to 1280°C is hard, non-porous and made to be used. Dishwasher and oven to 220°C are both fine. The microwave is not: there is iron in the body and it heats unevenly.
The foot ring is left unglazed so the piece does not stick to the kiln shelf, so give it a wash before its first use and dry the foot before stacking. If something chips, send a photograph — some pieces can be repaired, and the ones that cannot are worth replacing rather than hiding.
