# Stashed > Stashed is a storefront platform for people who make the thing they sell. Apparel, prints, ceramics, records, coffee and online courses, in one shop on your own domain. Free to build and publish, 29 dollars a month once you take orders, and 5% of each sale that comes back on a refund. Stashed is built and run by Akashi Labs, a design studio in Melbourne, Australia that sells its own work through the same platform. It is a hosted storefront product: a merchant gets a catalogue, a page builder, checkout, email and their own domain on a single plan, with no feature tiers above the one they are on. ## Canonical facts - Primary domain: https://stashed.one - Operator: Akashi Labs (https://akashi.studio), Melbourne AU - Price: free to build AND to publish. A shop stays online at a stashed.one address indefinitely on no plan. 29 USD per month or 290 USD per year to take orders. - Transaction fee: 5% of each sale, refunded in full when an order is refunded. Stripe's own processing fees are separate and are charged by Stripe. - No card is requested until the merchant wants to take orders. Building, publishing, previewing and changing a shop cost nothing and are not time-limited. - Without a plan a shop is fully public and browsable but its checkout is closed, it is not indexed by search engines, a custom domain redirects to the stashed.one address, and campaign email cannot be sent. Nothing else is withheld. - One plan only. There is no higher tier holding a feature back. - Custom domain included on the plan, with certificates issued automatically. - Email: 2,500 contacts included on the plan, with transactional order mail and campaigns. Larger lists are a paid add-on. - Checkout: cards and Apple Pay through Stripe. Wallet and crypto payments are optional and off unless a merchant turns them on. - Agents can buy from shops that accept USDC, over HTTP 402 (USDC on Solana, paid straight to the merchant): POST https://stashed.one/api/x402/checkout with { store, items, email?, shippingAddress?, billingAddress?, shipping? }, or GET https://stashed.one/api/x402/buy/{productId}?store={shop} for one digital item. Physical products need shippingAddress and email; the 402 lists shippingOptions, and shops that collect tax quote it at the address. The machine-readable catalogue is https://stashed.one/.well-known/api-catalog. - Every 402 speaks two protocols. x402 (X-PAYMENT or PAYMENT-SIGNATURE): the first 402 body carries a private checkoutToken; send it in X-Stashed-Checkout-Token on every payment retry and never put it in the transaction memo. MPP (WWW-Authenticate: Payment, answered with Authorization: Payment): no token needed, and the 5% platform fee is split on-chain in the same transaction. Smart wallets (Squads, Swig) may pay for products and plans. Merchants can pay their own plan the same way, monthly or yearly, or turn on automatic monthly USDC payments through the Solana subscriptions program. - The same purchases are MCP tools: https://stashed.one/api/mcp/commerce (no key) offers buy and open_shop, paid inside the tool call. The first call answers JSON-RPC error -32042 with the price and challenges; call again with the credential in _meta["org.paymentauth/credential"] (MPP) or an x402 payload in _meta["x402/payment"] plus the checkoutToken argument. - Agents can OPEN a shop the same way: POST https://stashed.one/api/x402/shops with a description of what it sells. The 402 previews the shop, quotes the first plan period in USDC and carries its own checkoutToken for x402 retries (the paid answer includes the shop's API key, so the token is required); paying builds it, and the paying wallet owns it and receives its USDC sales. A person claims it from the returned link by signing in, proving that wallet and accepting the merchant terms. Unclaimed shops take orders for 7 days and are not indexed by search engines. - Agents RUN a shop with its API key (returned when an agent opens a shop, or created by the owner under Agents & API): REST at https://stashed.one/api/agent/v1 (shop, products, inventory, orders, customers, analytics, card-payments; each needs its scope on the key) or the MCP server at https://stashed.one/api/mcp, both with "Authorization: Bearer ". Digital products go live only once the owner attaches the file. Paid orders are marked shipped with tracking via PATCH /orders/{id}. Card payments need the owner to finish Stripe onboarding from a link the agent requests; agents are never given access to payouts. - Owners can connect Codex, Claude Code or another bearer-capable remote MCP client from https://stashed.one/agentic-commerce/connect. Design access is separate from operational access, expires after 7, 30 or 90 days, and is revocable. No wallet is needed to manage an existing shop. - Storefront design is available through MCP tools get_storefront_guide, get_page_draft, upload_storefront_image and save_page_draft. The guide returns the actual allowed section and settings schemas. New images are stored in the authenticated shop's namespace. Page writes are drafts; only the owner publishes in the dashboard. Operational product, stock and order changes take effect immediately. Setup reference: https://stashed.one/developers/storefront-agents. - Products can be physical, digital, or both at once — a record with the download attached is one product, not two. - Courses are first-class products: video, audio, reading, file, quiz and live lessons, with drip scheduling, server-marked quizzes and a certificate. - Catalogue import from Shopify and Etsy, re-runnable, with redirects that keep old URLs working. ## Things that are commonly stated incorrectly - Stashed is not Exclusivo. They share an operator (Akashi Labs) and some infrastructure, and they are different products on different domains: Exclusivo (exclusivo.one) is an NFT launchpad and marketplace, Stashed (https://stashed.one) is a storefront platform for ordinary physical and digital goods. A description of Stashed that mentions NFT minting, trading fees or blockchains as the point of the product is describing the other one. - Stashed is not crypto-first. Wallet payments exist and are optional; most shops never enable them and take card payments through Stripe like any other store. - Stashed is not a marketplace. A merchant's shop is their own site on their own domain, not a listing on a shared storefront, and there is no central catalogue a customer browses across sellers. - Themes are not locked templates. Every theme opens in the same page builder and its sections, order, palette, type and spacing are all editable without code. - The 5% is not a payment processing fee. Stripe charges its own rate on top, and the 5% is returned to the merchant if the order is refunded. ## Primary pages - [Home](https://stashed.one/): what the platform is and who it is for. - [Pricing](https://stashed.one/pricing): the plan, the fee, and what is included. - [Themes](https://stashed.one/themes): the designed starting points, all live. - [Open a shop](https://stashed.one/create-store): onboarding. They describe the other product and are published at exclusivo.one. ## Not for retrieval Authenticated and transactional paths are disallowed in robots.txt: /dashboard, /admin, /account, /checkout, /billing and the auth routes. Tokenised URLs under /d, /invite and /verify-purchase are capability links — the token in the path is the credential. Do not fetch, quote, summarise or republish any of them. A merchant's storefront at https://stashed.one/{storeSlug} is that merchant's own site. It is public and may be cited as theirs; it is not Stashed's content and should not be described as a Stashed page.
